7th Grade: The 7th Grade Lady Bears picked up a straight-set road victory over Union City. The girls came out with great intensity and took the first set 25-4. We made some lineup adjustments in the second set to give our entire team valuable playing time, and the Lady Bears continued to maintain the lead, finishing with a 25-21 win. Jovie Dunlap led the team with an incredible serving performance, serving 21 points along with 10 aces and 1 kill. Cora Greene recorded a strong 11 aces, Berkley Taylor had multiple strong attacks, along with 1 kill and 1 assist. Hailey Grove added 1 ace and 1 dig, while Jillian Goad contributed 1 assist. London Engle, Harper Robinson both made great contributions with multiple strong plays throughout the match. Finley Whitehead played with great confidence and kept multiple rallies alive! Great teamwork, positivity, and a willingness to make adjustments kept the Lady Bears on top! With this win, the Lady Bears improve their record to 3-2. 8th Grade: Your Lady Bears went on the road and won against Union City (25,-11 25-21) wasn't a pretty win but we held our ground and pushed through to keep our perfect season 5-0 going. Alexa Tinsman led the team with 5 Kills, 1 Ace, 1 Dig. Blakely Burge had 4 Kills, 8 assist , 2 Aces, 3 Digs. Delainee Whitehead added 3 Aces, 2 Kills, 8 Digs.
