The Varsity Golden Bears faced another conference opponent Friday night in the Shenandoah Raiders. The Golden Bears got off to a slow start trailing 20-15 at the end of the first quarter. The Golden Bears stayed within striking distance through the second quarter going into halftime trailing 33-29. The Golden Bears came out ready to roll in the second half leading 46-42 at the end of the third quarter. The Golden Bears fought hard through the fourth quarter to maintain control and came out victorious defeating the Raiders 61-57. All team members contributed crucial minutes and made game winning plays. Team scores are as follows: Luke Morgan- 25; Ta’Shaun Beatty- 19; Peyton Chamness- 5; Jackson Konkle- 4; LaDainian Isom- 4; Eli Friend- 4. The Bears will be back in action Friday January 23rd in the Bear Den vs. Eastern Hancock. Go Bears!
