The Varsity Golden Bears went up against the Muncie Burris Owls Tuesday night in Ball Gymnasium. The Golden Bears jumped out early leading 29-13 at the end of the first quarter and maintained control through the second quarter going into halftime up 47-28. The Golden Bears didn’t let off the gas in the second half leading 64-41 at the end of third quarter. The Golden Bears won the game with a final score of 83-55, capturing their third win of the season. All team members provided crucial contributions and gave great effort. Team scores are as follows: Jackson Konkle- 22; Luke Morgan- 21; Ta’Shaun Beatty- 15; Peyton Chamness- 10; Kyler Bogue- 4; LaDainian Isom- 3; Griffin Gannom- 3; Eli Friend- 3; Cooper Huston- 2. The Golden Bears will prepare for their next outing Friday night against Randolph Southern at the Bear Den. Go Bears!
