The Varsity Golden Bears secured their second win of the season Friday night against the Daleville Broncos. The Broncos came out of the gates quick leading 26-14 at the end of the first quarter and 40-29 at halftime. The Golden Bears set their eyes on the prize in the second half and clawed their way to victory, only allowing Daleville to score 6 points in the third quarter cutting the Broncos lead to 3 at the end of third quarter 46-43. The Golden Bears took over the fourth quarter winning the game with a final score of 67-60. Crucial minutes and contributions were provided from all team members. Team scores are as follows: Luke Morgan 21; Ta’Shaun Beatty 17; Jackson Konkle 9; Griffin Gannom 8; LaDanian Isom 6; Peyton Chamness 6. The Golden Bears will look to prepare for their next outing on Tuesday, December 9th at Frankton. Go Bears!
